Hello everyone, and warmest greetings to you all as we continue to navigate these times of uncertainty and upheaval. I hope you are all finding calmness, joy, beauty, hope, peace and pleasure, and above all, love, connection and support as we find our way forward in this changing world, step by step.
I want to acknowledge those wonderful women around the country who have put their time and energy into attempting to organise Luna House workshops over the last couple of years, only to find in so many cases that these have had to be cancelled or postponed due to current difficulties. Thank you all so much for your generosity. I do deeply appreciate your efforts to bring Menstrual Cycle and Menopause workshops to women in your areas, and hugely look forward to a coming time when we can schedule them once again. Accordingly, we have some new ways in the pipeline for connecting, informing and supporting women, so do stay tuned.
A new offering - Pause for Menopause
I am delighted to announce that I’ve been invited to team up with two Auckland colleagues to offer an online support forum for women in or approaching Menopause. The free introductory session is coming up on Thursday 17 th Feb, 7pm, so be in quick if you’d like to get a taste of what this will be.
We will be following up with a monthly Question and Answer session, and opportunity to explore all things Menopause in more depth. You are most welcome to join us, or check us out further, via this link:
New Website and other coming developments
I am very happy to announce that Luna House's new website is almost complete. We are also on Instgram and Facebook. You can have a look through the links below.
For all these improvements, my heartfelt thanks to my patient and talented IT assistant Savahna Spark, who is so ably helping me open up better ways of getting the Luna House knowledge out into the world. Watch this space for further news soon about the Femenome Forum, which will include a blog and interactive Facebook Group where you can all join in discussions, share your own stories, and ask and receive answers to your questions about anything arising for you in your menstrual-cycle, menopause and mature life.
Let's help this book to help many more women...
Please spread the word that “The World Within Women: the femenome guide to your menstrual cycle” is available in both print and e-book form from Luna House Books https://www.lunahouse.co.nz/shop If you think this is a book that would benefit other women, please remember that one very simple way you can help boost its availability is by requesting your local library to stock it.
And a request
I am seeking someone who may have expertise and energy available in the field of book promotion and marketing, news media networking etc. If you have know-how or experience, advice or assistance you would care to offer to help this book spread its wings and fly, I would love to hear from you.
More soon With love to you all Jane Catherine
The femenome is here. She is ours. We are hers. She has been banished into dormancy for longer than human memory can stretch. And now she is awakening. Dear sisters, it’s time to let her in. Because then, together, we can let her out!!
