I am very honoured to have joined with women around the world to contribute to a celebratory compendium by Womancraft Publishing - Weaving Our Way Beyond Patriarchy - available to pre-order now. The thread I have woven into this compendium is called “Femenome: a paradigm revolution:”.
See below for more information on this book and how to pre-order it.
Womancraft Publishing are thrilled to announce that their celebratory title: Weaving Our Way Beyond Patriarchy – A Womancraft Compendium to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of Womancraft Publishing, is now available to pre-order from www.womancraftpublishing.com
Weaving Our Way Beyond Patriarchy is compiled and edited by Womancraft Publishing's founder Lucy H. Pearce. Lucy also wrote the Compendium's Introduction.
Taking the ancient women’s work of weaving as its framework, Weaving Our Way Beyond Patriarchy is a collaborative text of voices woven from the Womancraft community – Womancraft Publishing's own authors, both established and upcoming, aligned authors published elsewhere, and readers, ranging in age from twelve to over seventy.
This diverse and inclusive compendium of contemporary women’s wisdom is bound to become a much-loved handbook to carry us forward through these strange and uncertain times, with words to encourage and inspire us and our sisters, daughters, granddaughters, friends and communities.
When you pre-order you will also receive a link to the Weaving Our Way Spotify playlist compiled by Lucy to support and encourage you as you weave your way beyond patriarchy - this was the music that she listened to as she compiled the Compendium. It includes songs from Eleanor Brown (who contributed lyrics to the anthology), Rising Appalachia, Beautiful Chorus, Olivia Fern and many more talented women.
Womancraft Publishing are sharing this playlist with their contributors as a little thank you. They've had so much great feedback about it - women are singing along, dancing and crying to it all over the world.
